Monique Hindi

Monique Hindi graduated in 2004 from CSUN with her Bachelors of Science in Business Management with a minor in Marketing. After five years of becoming a successful business entrepreneur in various lines of business she decided to return to school and follow her family roots, to get her teaching credential. Her mother has taught grade school for over 30 years, always bringing Monique and her siblings along to help out in the classroom. It took five years for her to see that she missed being in the educational field where she could help out her community and teach children how to achieve their goals.

She earned her Masters of Arts in Education in 2009 and started teaching at-risk children helping them succeed both academically and emotionally. Her goal was to let every child know that they can be successful in whatever he or she put their minds to. After a tough recession in the educational field Monique did not give up on helping children she took on a position as a behavioral therapist here in Santa Clarita. Her clients would constantly bring it to her attention the lack of programs and resources for children on the spectrum. One of her clients told her about this wonderful place called We Rock The Spectrum and that’s when her and her sister in-law realized the need for a place for all the children in Santa Clarita to call their second home. That’s when they decided to look into “We Rock the Spectrum.” Bringing “We Rock the Spectrum,” to the Santa Clarita Valley is a dream come true for Monique and her family. They are so enthusiastic to be able to “finally provide a place where children never have to say I am sorry!”
